5-15-2024 Vanessa M. Gordon, CPA Elected to Family Service League Board of Directors

 

 

Huntington, NY (May 15, 2024)Family Service League (FSL), a leading Long Island based non-profit human service organization, is proud to announce the election of Vanessa M. Gordon, CPA, to its Board of Directors. Ms. Gordon is an Audit Principal at Grassi Advisors & Accountants located in Jericho, New York and works with clients solely in the nonprofit industry. She has over a decade of experience auditing a variety of industries including health care and human services organizations, institutions of higher education, local and governmental units, and religious organizations.

Ms. Gordon is actively engaged in the nonprofit industry through participation in association conferences, meetings, and networking events. She shares her experience and knowledge as a speaker for the New York State Society of CPAs. She volunteers her time with the Grassi Women’s Council, presents training sessions, and works as a mentor.

Ms. Gordon was most recently recognized as one of Moore North America’s Emerging Leaders, LIBN Top 50 Women in Business, and LIBN 40 Under 40. She earned her degree from Stony Brook University and is a licensed CPA in New York State. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. She currently resides in West Babylon, New York.
